About Giclée Prints
The reproduction process involves digital capture using the most advanced technology, followed by painstaking color balancing to make sure the print matches the original as perfectly as possible. Giclée is a French word meaning to spray or squirt. Giclée printing uses extremely fine computer controlled jets to apply pigmented inks to specially prepared paper, resulting in an image which is almost indistinguishable from the original. The inks are LUCIA Canon inks which are archival quality.
